Ana is a local Free Ride skier and here is how she explains her passion in skiing. Sharing my knowledge with others is one of my favourite activities. Sometime ago I used to teach Georgian National Dances to a lot of people. At present I teach people of any age and origin how to “dance” in the snowy mountains standing on skis. The experience I gained as a professional dancing instructor helps me find new and special approaches in teaching. For me skiing is akin to dancing which must give you the maximum of satisfaction and pleasure. Sharing my knowledge with others is one of my favourite activities. Tornike - started in Bakuriani when my Parents took me and my brother for skiing. We learned skiing there but mastered it in Gudauri's Ski school. It was basically us, being 10 days in a camp with bunch of ski fanatic Kids and most importantly we got to Ski non-stop during the day. It was Simply a kid's paradise. At this moment I am 23 years old and live in Tbilisi when I'm not in the mountains. I'm on my last year of State University in Psychology. I am also pursuing other sports, since as you all know Snow melts at some point. I've been rock climbing since my early childhood. at the age of 16 I even worked as a climbing instructor. I had to deal with kids and adults as well. It is my 4th season as a Ski Instructor in Gudauri. In December of 2017 I got the certificate and License in Gudauri from an International Ski Federation. I can easily say that, I enjoy teaching, especially the moment when the progress is obvious for me as for a student. It is really motivating and inspiring to see that you are actually ensuring that others will enjoy life more. I believe that everyone can learn skiing, the main thing is the one's desire and motivation. I would also say that I like to work with kids, because they express more joy and excitement. Adults have definitely the same kind of feeling, but kids are more open to express their feelings.
